POPPY PEDIATRICS MEMBERSHIP

How membership pediatric care works

Poppy Pediatrics is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. This means your family pays one simple monthly membership fee. This pays for your visits and access to Dr. Landsman. We do not bill your insurance for any of the care or visits we provide.

One monthly fee, month to month

Membership is a flat monthly fee per child, paid month to month. There is no long term contract, commitment or cancellation fees. Families with multiple children can also ask about a family max that Dr. Landsman offers. The monthly fee covers the care listed below, so there are no copays, no surprise bills, and no guessing what a visit will cost.

What membership includes

  • • Well-child visits, school and sports physicals
  • • Sick visits, including home visits when appropriate
  • • Newborn care
  • • Direct phone, text, and email access to Dr. Landsman
  • • Virtual care
  • • Longer appointments. They can be what we need, typically 30–60 minutes.
  • • Coordination with specialists and follow-up after care
  • • Guidance on feeding, sleep, behavior, and development

We don't bill insurance

Removing insurance billing is what allows a small patient panel, longer visits, and direct access to Dr. Landsman. No billing department. No surprise invoices months after a visit.

You should still keep health insurance. Insurance remains important for services outside the practice such as emergency care, hospitalizations, surgeries, specialist visits, prescriptions, and labs or imaging ordered through outside facilities.

Access and after-hours communication

Members contact Dr. Landsman directly via text, phone, or email. No call centers. Many concerns are resolved the same day without a visit at all. For urgent after-hours concerns, you reach Dr. Landsman who already knows your child's history. For life-threatening emergencies, always call 911 first.

Is membership right for your family?

Membership tends to fit families who value a real relationship with their pediatrician, want same-day answers instead of week-long waits, and prefer transparent pricing. The easiest way to decide is a free call with Dr. Landsman. You can also read how DPC compares to concierge pediatrics .
